Medical and prescription drug plan costs are increasing at higher rates than ever before, thanks in part to a high-risk group well-known as high-cost claimants. Despite making up just 1% of plan membership, their expenses account for nearly half of the total cost. This population is expanding due to the emergence of high-cost injectable drugs, an increase in cancer diagnosis rates, and longer hospital stays for complex conditions and procedures. This leaves employers grappling with the financial burden.

In this presentation, hear the latest trends in how predictive modeling can help employers gain insight into the risk factors and top health conditions impacting high-risk members on their health plans. With this information, employers can revolutionize their care management and budget planning processes through unprecedented predictions, continuous monitoring, and actionable recommendations, giving them the confidence to manager their claims risk and healthcare expenses.
